Next Level Gardens is owned and operated by Peter Bouvy, a garden designer, stewardship coach, and longtime educator based in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

Peter created Next Level Gardens to help homeowners move beyond feeling overwhelmed by their landscapes. His approach combines careful observation, practical planning, native-forward planting, and ongoing education so clients can understand their property and care for it with greater confidence.

After nearly three decades in the classroom, Peter brings an educator’s mindset to every garden. He believes people are more likely to care for a landscape when they understand how it works—what is thriving, what needs attention, what can wait, and how thoughtful changes made over time can support both people and wildlife.

Peter is an Allegheny County Master Gardener, with additional training through Phipps Sustainable Landcare. His own Valley Park garden serves as a living portfolio and learning space where he continues to observe, experiment, and refine the seasonal stewardship practices he shares with clients.

Next Level Gardens serves homeowners and community spaces throughout Pittsburgh’s South Hills through garden coaching, focused action plans, curated projects, and year-long stewardship.

EDUCATE. EMPOWER. GROW.

The goal is not simply to choose plants or complete a project. It is to help people see their landscapes differently, make informed decisions, and become more confident stewards of the places they care for.
